Mauviel Cookware. Mauviel is the leading cookware manufacturer for professional and household chefs throughout the world. Halfway between the frying pan and the saucepan, the splayed saute pan is, as its name shows, the ideal utensil to cook small pieces of meat or vegetables in pieces with a small quantity of oil after browning them over high heat.
Maximum temperature. Our products have a superb conductivity, so cooktop knobs or controls cannot be used at their 100% heating power; they need to be used at a 60% capacity. It means on a level of 10, 6.
Be cautious with heat intensity and duration. Avoid leaving an empty pan on a hot burner for too long. If not suitable for dishwasher, do not put in dishwasher. Refrain from using metal utensils on non-stick surface. Avoid using scouring pads, steel wool, abrasive cleaners, bleach, or oven cleaners to prevent damage. Misuse of cookware invalidates warranty. Do not use bleach on Mauviel cookware as it can erode the Stainless Steel interior.
High performance. Mauviel's M'Heritage collection is made of two traditional cooking materials: copper and stainless steel, (90-percent copper and 10-percent 18/10 stainless steel). Copper exterior offers superior control, heats evenly and much faster than other metals; stainless steel interior preserves the taste and nutritional qualities of foods and is easy to clean.
